Electrical Work: Inspection and repair of electrical installations and devices.

Burner Maintenance:

  • Cleaning and inspection of ignition electrodes and the photocell.
  • Cleaning of the oil pump and oil filters along the pipeline that supplies fuel from the tank to the burner.
  • Cleaning of the fan blades.
  • Regular and thorough cleaning of the chimney and smoke ducts should occur at least every two years.

What Adjustments Include:

Like maintenance, adjustments must be performed by a certified burner technician, including:

  • Adjusting the air and oil ratio for optimal combustion.
  • Adjusting the correct position of the swirl generator and electrodes.
  • Checking and adjusting the automatic control circuit, which starts and stops combustion, as well as safety devices (thermostats, safety valve) and indicators (thermometers, pressure gauges).

Other General Maintenance Tasks:

  • Restoring insulation to the exterior surface of the boiler and the pipes in the boiler room if they have been damaged.
  • Cleaning the oil tank of rust, sludge, water, etc., after draining it at least every three years.
  • Removing smoke collectors, if present, from rooftops.
